Welcome to The Good Dog Adventure Club

Hello and welcome to The Good Dog Adventure Club journal! We're Becca, Tom, and Earl—the proud team behind this little business with a big mission: to help dogs and their humans enjoy more sustainable, snack-filled adventures.

The story of The Good Dog Adventure Club began when we welcomed Earl, our Serbian rescue dog, into our lives. Like so many rescue dog owners, we hit quite a few bumps along the way and adjusting to life with Earl took a little longer than expected. Life in a new home was pretty scary for Earl and we spent a lot of time getting him used to the sounds and sights of day-to-day life. Supplied with lots of patience and tasty snacks, he gradually realised life wasn't anything to be worried about, all while we realised just how much plastic we were getting through by owning a dog!

So many dog treats are packaged in small plastic packets, often filled with unnecessary filler ingredients and artificial additives, and shipped in from all over the world. We wanted to change that and create something that truly aligns with our values. That’s why we source our dog treats from the UK and ensure they are all made with minimal, nutritious ingredients. We then package them sustainably in recyclable or compostable materials to ensure that every adventure you take your dog on leaves as little impact on the planet as possible.

Our collection of adventure goods—from durable climbing rope dog leads to (almost) indestructible enamel mugs and dog bowls—is curated with the same philosophy in mind. Every piece is limited-edition because we believe in buying only what you need, avoiding surplus stock, and reducing waste wherever possible. By creating our goods with intention we ensure you get gear that’s built to last and kind to the planet.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, but we know there’s always room to grow. That’s why we’re constantly looking for ways to improve—whether it’s finding new ways to reduce waste, supporting local suppliers, or exploring innovative packaging options. Our mission is simple: to leave the smallest pawprint possible while helping every dog live their best adventure-filled life.
